3 Collaborative Tracking Control of UAV-UGV

Authors: Jae-Young Choi, Sung-Gaun Kim

Abstract:

This paper suggests a fast and stable Target Tracking system in collaborative control of UAV and UGV. Wi-Fi communication range is limited in collaborative control of UAV and UGV. Thus, to secure a stable communications, UAV and UGV have to be kept within a certain distance from each other. But existing method which uses UAV Vertical Camera to follow the motion of UGV is likely to lose a target with a sudden movement change. Eventually, UGV has disadvantages that it could only move at a low speed and not make any sudden change of direction in order to keep track of the target. Therefore, we suggest utilizing AR Drone UAV front camera to track fast-moving and Omnidirectional Mecanum Wheel UGV.

2 Dead-Reckoning Error Calibration using Celling Looking Vision Camera

Authors: Jae-Young Choi, Sung-Gaun Kim

Abstract:

This paper suggests a calibration method to reduce errors occurring due to mobile robot sliding during location estimation using the Dead-reckoning. Due to sliding of the mobile robot caused between its wheels and the road surface while on free run, location estimation can be erroneous. Sliding especially occurs during cornering of mobile robot. Therefore, in order to reduce these frequent sliding errors in cornering, we calibrated the mobile robot-s heading values using a vision camera and templates of the ceiling.

1 Design of Multi-disease Diagnosis Processor using Hypernetworks Technique

Authors: Jae-Yeon Song, Seung-Yerl Lee, Kyu-Yeul Wang, Byung-Soo Kim, Sang-Seol Lee, Seong-Seob Shin, Jae-Young Choi, Chong Ho Lee, Jeahyun Park, Duck-Jin Chung

Abstract:

In this paper, we propose disease diagnosis hardware architecture by using Hypernetworks technique. It can be used to diagnose 3 different diseases (SPECT Heart, Leukemia, Prostate cancer). Generally, the disparate diseases require specified diagnosis hardware model for each disease. Using similarities of three diseases diagnosis processor, we design diagnosis processor that can diagnose three different diseases. Our proposed architecture that is combining three processors to one processor can reduce hardware size without decrease of the accuracy.
