The article discusses multimodal mobility in
\r\ncontemporary societies as a main planning and organization issue in
\r\nthe functioning of administrative bodies, a problem which really
\r\nexists in the space of contemporary cities in terms of shaping modern
\r\ntransport systems. The article presents classification of available
\r\nresources and initiatives undertaken for developing multimodal
\r\nmobility. Solutions can be divided into three groups of measures –
\r\nphysical measures in the form of changes of the transport network
\r\ninfrastructure, organizational ones (including transport policy) and
\r\ninformation measures. The latter ones include in particular direct
\r\nsupport for people travelling in the transport network by providing
\r\ninformation about ways of using available means of transport. A
\r\nspecial measure contributing to this end is a trip planner. The article
\r\ncompares several selected planners. It includes a short description of
\r\nthe Green Travelling Project, which aims at developing a planner
\r\nsupporting environmentally friendly solutions in terms of transport
\r\nnetwork operation. The article summarizes preliminary findings of
\r\nthe project.<\/p>\r\n","references":"[1] I. Celi\u0144ski, S. Krawiec, E. Macioszek, G.
