Bureaucracy reform program drives Indonesian
\r\ngovernment to change their management to enhance their
\r\norganizational performance. Information technology became one of
\r\nstrategic plan that organization tried to improve. Knowledge
\r\nmanagement system is one of information system that supporting
\r\nknowledge management implementation in government which
\r\ncategorized as people perspective, because this system has high
\r\ndependency in human interaction and participation. Strategic plan for
\r\ndeveloping knowledge management system can be determine using
\r\nsome of information system strategic methods. This research
\r\nconducted to define type of strategic method of information system,
\r\nstage of activity each method, strength and weakness. Literature
\r\nreview methods used to identify and classify strategic methods of
\r\ninformation system, differentiate method type, categorize common
\r\nactivities, strength and weakness. Result of this research are
\r\ndetermine and compare six strategic information system methods,
\r\nBalanced Scorecard and Risk Analysis believe as common strategic
