The research studied and examined the
\r\ncompetitiveness of the animation industry in Thailand. Data were
\r\ncollected based on articles, related reports and websites, news,
\r\nresearch, and interviews of key persons from both public and private
\r\nsectors. The diamond model was used to analyze the study. The
\r\nmajor factor driving the Thai animation industry forward includes a
\r\nquality workforce, their creativity and strong associations. However,
\r\ndiscontinuity in government support, infrastructure, marketing, IP
\r\ncreation and financial constraints were factors keeping the Thai
\r\nanimation industry less competitive in the global market.<\/p>\r\n","references":"[1] British Columbia Trade and Investment. (2011).
