The transparency and morphology of as-prepared POMA fibers was characterized by UV-visible spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy, respectively. It was found to have no adverse effects on the long-term proliferation of the neural stem cells (NSCs), retained the ability to self-renew, and exhibit multipotentiality. Results of immunofluorescence staining studies confirmed that POMA electrospun fibers could provide a great environment for NSCs and enhance its differentiation. }, journal = {International Journal of Biotechnology and Bioengineering}, volume = {7}, number = {12}, year = {2013}, pages = {1143 - 1147}, ee = {https://publications.waset.org/pdf/9996794}, url = {https://publications.waset.org/vol/84}, bibsource = {https://publications.waset.org/}, issn = {eISSN: 1307-6892}, publisher = {World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology}, index = {Open Science Index 84, 2013}, }
