The results from the experiments indicate that the cationic polyelectrolytes have a significant effluence on the sludge characteristic, degree of flocculation and water quality such as turbidity and SVI. The results show that the cationic CPAM-80 is the most effective polyelectrolyte used corresponding to turbidity and SVI despite of the variations in feed properties of the fresh activated sludge. }, journal = {International Journal of Environmental and Ecological Engineering}, volume = {7}, number = {12}, year = {2013}, pages = {820 - 824}, ee = {https://publications.waset.org/pdf/9996626}, url = {https://publications.waset.org/vol/84}, bibsource = {https://publications.waset.org/}, issn = {eISSN: 1307-6892}, publisher = {World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology}, index = {Open Science Index 84, 2013}, }
