Different ratios of the\r\ndiameter of the rigid cylinder to the maximum radius of the bubble\r\nare considered. The Boundary Integral Equation Method is employed\r\nfor numerical simulation of the problem. Results show that during\r\nthe collapse phase of the bubble inside a vertical rigid cylinder, two\r\nliquid micro jets are developed on the top and bottom sides of the\r\nvapour bubble and are directed inward. Results also show that\r\nexistence of a deposit rib inside the vertical rigid cylinder slightly\r\nincreases the life time of the bubble. It is found that by increasing the\r\nratio of the cylinder diameter to the maximum radius of the bubble,\r\nthe rate of the growth and collapse phases of the bubble increases\r\nand the life time of the bubble decreases.","references":null,"publisher":"World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology","index":"Open Science Index 39, 2010"}
