It is shown that the density function after linear convolution is a mixture density, where the number of density components is equal to the number of observations of the shortest signal. For circular convolution, the observed samples are characterized by a single density function, which is a sum of products. }, journal = {International Journal of Mathematical and Computational Sciences}, volume = {7}, number = {5}, year = {2013}, pages = {875 - 878}, ee = {https://publications.waset.org/pdf/16758}, url = {https://publications.waset.org/vol/77}, bibsource = {https://publications.waset.org/}, issn = {eISSN: 1307-6892}, publisher = {World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology}, index = {Open Science Index 77, 2013}, }
