These challenges have recently become even more demanding as microprocessors operate at sub voltage range at significantly high current. This paper presents a new multiphase topology with cell configuration for improved performance in low voltage and high current applications. A lab scale hardware prototype of the new topology was design and constructed. Laboratory tests were performed on the proposed converter and compared with a commercially available VRM. Results from the proposed topology exhibit improved performance compared to the commercially available counterpart. }, journal = {International Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering}, volume = {4}, number = {7}, year = {2010}, pages = {1060 - 1064}, ee = {https://publications.waset.org/pdf/1359}, url = {https://publications.waset.org/vol/43}, bibsource = {https://publications.waset.org/}, issn = {eISSN: 1307-6892}, publisher = {World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology}, index = {Open Science Index 43, 2010}, }
