This paper presents Finite Element Method (FEM) for

\r\nanalyzing the internal responses generated in thin rectangular plates

\r\nwith various edge conditions and rigidity conditions. Comparison has

\r\nbeen made between the FEM (ANSYS software) results for

\r\ndisplacement, stresses and moments generated with and without the

\r\nconsideration of hole in plate and different aspect ratios. In the end

\r\ncomparison for responses in plain and composite square plates has
