Twodimensional\r\nshallow water equations are used in the analysis. It is\r\nassumed that the fluid contains uniformly distributed solid particles.\r\nNo dynamic interaction between the carrier fluid and particles is\r\nexpected in the initial moment. The stability calculations are\r\nperformed for different values of the particle loading parameter and\r\ntwo other parameters which characterize the velocity ratio and the\r\nvelocity deficit. The results show that the particle loading parameter\r\nhas a stabilizing effect on the flow while the increase in the velocity\r\nratio or in the velocity deficit destabilizes the flow.","references":null,"publisher":"World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology","index":"Open Science Index 22, 2008"}
