The seasonality indicator is examined for two time periods: early (1901-1970) and recent (1971-2015). In some regions of India throughout the recent time (1971-2015), trend analysis using linear regression during these two periods reveals a downward trend in the seasonality index (i.e., decreasing values of the index), which implies shorter dry spells resulting in more consistent rainfall throughout the year.}, journal = {International Journal of Geological and Environmental Engineering}, volume = {18}, number = {1}, year = {2024}, pages = {14 - 20}, ee = {https://publications.waset.org/pdf/10013460}, url = {https://publications.waset.org/vol/205}, bibsource = {https://publications.waset.org/}, issn = {eISSN: 1307-6892}, publisher = {World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology}, index = {Open Science Index 205, 2024}, }
