Robotics brings together several very different
\r\nengineering areas and skills. There are various types of robot such as
\r\nhumanoid robot, mobile robots, remotely operated vehicles, modern
\r\nautonomous robots etc. This survey paper advocates the operation of a
\r\nrobotic car (remotely operated vehicle) that is controlled by a mobile
\r\nphone (communicate on a large scale over a large distance even from
\r\ndifferent cities). The person makes a call to the mobile phone placed
\r\nin the car. In the case of a call, if any one of the button is pressed, a
\r\ntone equivalent to the button pressed is heard at the other end of the
\r\ncall. This tone is known as DTMF (Dual Tone Multiple Frequency).
\r\nThe car recognizes this DTMF tone with the help of the phone stacked
\r\nin the car. The received tone is processed by the Arduino
\r\nmicrocontroller. The microcontroller is programmed to acquire a
\r\ndecision for any given input and outputs its decision to motor drivers
\r\nin order to drive the motors in the forward direction or backward
\r\ndirection or left or right direction. The mobile phone that makes a call
\r\nto cell phone stacked in the car act as a remote.<\/p>\r\n","references":"[1] A Guide to Understanding and Exploiting Australia\u2019s Most Common\r\nTelecommunications Signaling Method.\r\n[2] Awab Fakih, Jovita Serrao, Cell Phone Operated Robotic Car.\r\nInternational Journal of Scientific & Engineering Research, ISSN 2229-\r\n5518.\r\n[3] Amritanshu Srivastava, Hrishikesh Narayan Tripathi, GSM Calling\r\nbased Multi-tasking Robot vehicle with Password protection\r\nInternational Journal of Advanced Research in Computer Science and\r\nSoftware Engineering, ISSN: 2277 128X.\r\n[4] David Kushner (26 Oct 2011). \"The Making of Arduino\".
