6 Introduction to Political Psychoanalysis of a Group in the Middle East

Authors: Seyedfateh Moradi, Abas Ali Rahbar

Abstract:

The present study focuses on investigating group psychoanalysis in the Middle East. The study uses a descriptive-analytic method and library resources have been used to collect the data. Additionally, the researcher’s observations of people’s everyday behavior have played an important role in the production and analysis of the study. Group psychoanalysis in the Middle East can be conducted through people’s daily behaviors, proverbs, poetry, mythology, etc., and some of the general characteristics of people in the Middle East include: xenophobia, revivalism, fatalism, nostalgic, wills and so on. Members of the group have often failed to achieve Libido wills and it is very important in unifying and reproduction violence. Therefore, if libidinal wills are irrationally fixed, it will be important in forming fundamentalist and racist groups, a situation that is dominant among many groups in the Middle East. Adversities, from early childhood and afterwards, in the subjects have always been influential in the political behavior of group members, and it manifests itself as counter-projections. Consequently, it affects the foreign policy of the governments. On the other hand, two kinds of subjects are identifiable in the Middle East, one; classical subject that is related to nostalgia and mythology and, two; modern subjects which is self-alienated. As a result, both subjects are seeking identity and self-expression in public in relation to forming groups. Therefore, collective unconscious in the Middle East shows itself as extreme boundaries and leads to forming groups characterized with violence. Psychoanalysis shows important aspects to identify many developments in the Middle East; totally analysis of Freud, Carl Jung and Reich about groups can be applied in the present Middle East.

5 Correspondence Theorem for Anti L-fuzzy Normal Subgroups

Authors: Jian Tang, Yunfei Yao

Abstract:

In this paper the concept of the cosets of an anti Lfuzzy normal subgroup of a group is given. Furthermore, the group G/A of cosets of an anti L-fuzzy normal subgroup A of a group G is shown to be isomorphic to a factor group of G in a natural way. Finally, we prove that if f : G1 -→ G2 is an epimorphism of groups, then there is a one-to-one order-preserving correspondence between the anti L-fuzzy normal subgroups of G2 and those of G1 which are constant on the kernel of f.

4 Some Constructions of Non-Commutative Latin Squares of Order n

Authors: H. V. Chen, A. Y. M. Chin, S. Sharmini

Abstract:

Let n be an integer. We show the existence of at least three non-isomorphic non-commutative Latin squares of order n which are embeddable in groups when n ≥ 5 is odd. By using a similar construction for the case when n ≥ 4 is even, we show that certain non-commutative Latin squares of order n are not embeddable in groups.

3 Group of p-th Roots of Unity Modulo n

Authors: Rochdi Omami, Mohamed Omami, Raouf Ouni

Abstract:

Let n ≥ 3 be an integer and p be a prime odd number. Let us consider Gp(n) the subgroup of (Z/nZ)* defined by : Gp(n) = {x ∈ (Z/nZ)* / xp = 1}. In this paper, we give an algorithm that computes a generating set of this subgroup.

Abstract:

Let n ≥ 3 be an integer and G2(n) be the subgroup of square roots of 1 in (Z/nZ)*. In this paper, we give an algorithm that computes a generating set of this subgroup.

1 The Way Classroom Functions: Another Hidden Curriculum to be Explored

Authors: Victoria Konidari, Yvan Abernot

Abstract:

This paper seeks to explore the actual classroom setting, to examine its role for students- learning, and attitude in the class. It presents a theoretical approach of the classroom as system to be explored and examines the concrete reality of Greek secondary education students, under the light of the above approach. Based on the findings of a quantitative and qualitative research, authors propose a rather ontological approach of the classroom and underline what the key-elements for such approach should be. The paper explores extensively the theoretical dimensions for the change of paradigm required and addresses the new issues to be considered.
