The mathematical/numerical model assumes undepleted pumping, and shows very clearly the deleterious effect of FWM on the performance of DWDM systems, measured by the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The results make it evident that non-uniform channel spacing is practically mandatory for WDM systems based on DSF fibers.}, journal = {International Journal of Electronics and Communication Engineering}, volume = {2}, number = {12}, year = {2008}, pages = {2674 - 2680}, ee = {https://publications.waset.org/pdf/7342}, url = {https://publications.waset.org/vol/24}, bibsource = {https://publications.waset.org/}, issn = {eISSN: 1307-6892}, publisher = {World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology}, index = {Open Science Index 24, 2008}, }
