Because of the limited computational resources some simplifications had to be made in order to contribute to the design in a reasonable timescale. The porous media model was used in order to simulate the influence of the pressure drop characteristic of particular elements of a heat transfer system on the water-flow distribution in the system. Further, a combination of CFD analyses and spread sheet calculations was used in order to solve the flow distribution problem.}, journal = {International Journal of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering}, volume = {2}, number = {4}, year = {2008}, pages = {432 - 440}, ee = {https://publications.waset.org/pdf/15317}, url = {https://publications.waset.org/vol/16}, bibsource = {https://publications.waset.org/}, issn = {eISSN: 1307-6892}, publisher = {World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology}, index = {Open Science Index 16, 2008}, }
