Everyday life is and will be influenced depending on
\r\nthe developments that society undergoes throughout the history.
\r\nParticularly, countries undergoing transition from one system to
\r\nanother sustain the greatest impact in trying to embrace the modern
\r\nsystem. Kosovo society had the fortune to experience a change,
\r\nwhich began in late 1999 to continue up to date. One of the
\r\n'developments' of the time with the evolution in Kosovo society was
\r\nthe transition from the traditional education system into the modern
\r\none. This transformation began immediately after the war, to
\r\ncontinue even today. It was started by internationals, which governed
\r\nand administered Kosovo society, including education. There was a
\r\ngreat 'evolution', because almost the entire system was 'changed'.
\r\nAmong other things, for the first time it was enabled the opening of
\r\nprivate schools from the lowest level up to the colleges and
\r\nuniversities. This paper will address: how much was ready the society
\r\nto embrace such a 'cultural' change in education, respectively, how
\r\nmuch were prepared teachers for such changes; as it was actually
\r\nthought to be a modern education system, how much was it according
\r\nto international standards; what are the results and current situation in
\r\nKosovo education.<\/p>\r\n","references":"[1] Dyla, Besim (2010).
